Kris Charody

Kris draws on her over 40 years of physiotherapy knowledge and experience to assess every patient she sees. Kris is passionate about solving complex musculoskeletal problems, including cervicogenic headaches, and giving people the skills via a tailored  home exercise program to manage these complex problems in the best possible way for their condition.

Kris is a titled musculoskeletal physiotherapist, has completed the APA sports physiotherapy training to level 2 standard, and for eleven years worked on field at schoolboy rugby. Continuing education is still important.

Kris loves treating dancers, having worked at the Remedial Dance Clinic in London, treating elite level classical ballet dancers. In latter years she has become addicted to dance herself, dancing a combination of smooth and rhythm as well as ballroom and latin dancing.

Ocean swimming both winter and summer is also a wonderful fitness and relaxation for Kris.

Kris worked as a physio at the World Masters Games in Sydney in 2009, and regularly helps patients with return to work management, having a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.

Kris believes home training programs go a huge way to empowering people to improve their overall health and well being. She believes that ageing needs to be managed with appropriate exercise to maintain maximum function. Healthy aging well is a focus for her and she enjoys assessing the needs of her older patients to guide them to optimum fitness

Kris has two adult children and a five year old grand daughter.

In June 2018 Spring Street Sports and Spinal Physiotherapy in Chatswood closed. Kris had worked there for 26 years. The patient load was varied from adolescent, children and adult sporting injuries both recreational and elite, to management of our aging population . Kris thus brings a long and varied experience to her practice,
